What We Do

We are a building-stone quarry and wholesale supplier of quality natural quartzite currently serving the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Iversons took over operations in 1998 with a small crew, one skid steer loader, and big dreams. Now, over a decade later, we are a well-established and recognized stone supplier.

Mt. Moriah Stone quartzite is split, graded, and palletized, with completed pallets hauled to our stone yard twelve miles north of U.S. Highway 6 and 50, accessible by an improved gravel road.

Where We Came From

In the 1950′s, builder/architect Richard Hatch utilized natural stone extensively in his construction projects. Determined to establish his own quarry, Mr. Hatch scoured the western states, eventually locating a major deposit of quartzite on the eastern slope of Mt. Moriah, north of Baker, Nevada. He used this exceptional quartzite stone in building numerous public buildings and luxurious residences.
